Marantec frequency settings:

When Marantec was first introduced in the United States in the 1990s, the garage door openers used a 40MHz frequency that ended up interfering with many military frequencies, forcing the company to change to a 390MHz frequency. Soon afterwards, it was discovered that this frequency often interfered with other garage door opener frequencies from other brands of garage door opener already on the market. And so, once again they were forced to discontinue use of this frequency. Prior to discontinuing this frequency, Marantec began offering models in a 433MHz frequency to combat this issue in areas it was a problem.

Eventually, the 390MHz frequency was discontinued and replaced with the current 315MHz frequency. Marantec no longer offers any products with either the 40MHz or 390MHz frequencies. Almost all Marantec openers are made using the 315MHz frequency. The company's 433MHz operators are available for areas with interference problems. A rare Marantec garage opener has a 916MHz frequency.
